SceneCritic here. In this Blog I’ll explore why I love the films that I do. Here, instead of giving a critique of the entire film, I’ll take one scene which I think makes the film.
I’ve found that films and cinema have a profound effect on me personally. In films I have a particular passion for, I can always look back to one or more scenes that really blew me away, or when re-watching, the scene that reminds me I love this film, and making it amazing, profound, frightening, moving or altogether special.
In SceneCritic I’ll have fun rekindling and revisiting my excitement and love for films which have had an effect on me, and hopefully share this passion with others (you!) too.

Yes, I’ve always enjoyed taking a film scene by scene, and enjoy reading a critique in this manner. At SceneCritic I’ll only be using one scene though, in my favourite films, which I think captures the essence of the film or simply gives me goosebumps!
